The younger sibling of the w20. The main difference between these hot-rolled profiles is the increased profile depth, which allows accommodating glazing units up to a thickness of 27 mm. That helps to combine compact sightlines together with an excellent thermal and acoustic performance.

Maximum allowed door and window height is increased up to 2500 mm. The w40 supports EI30 fire resistance, making it suitable for fire-rated applications where the Crittall aesthetic is required. The w40 is often chosen for corridors, stairwells, and compartment walls in period buildings where fire certification is needed. Structural and decorative glazing bars are available.

OTTOSTUMM w40 is supplied in RAL powder-coated finish. The hot-rolled steel construction ensures long-term durability with minimal maintenance.
