Assa Abloy Dragon
The leaf is assembled from two cold-formed galvanised steel sheets of min. 1.0 mm, forming the door skins. The construction is stiffened with steel profiles and filled with mineral wool (60 kg/m³). All four edges have rebates with an EPDM gasket. The leaf is 60 mm thick. The hinge side is secured with three anti-burglary bolts. A 20 mm threshold is included as standard.
Typical applications include residential, storage, retail, garage and plant rooms with a medium burglary risk; military, police and other uniformed-service buildings specified to RC3; cash-handling premises; and energy or telecoms facilities that require a medium level of forced-entry resistance. The door is intended for medium-duty use.
Standard configuration: three Ø22 mm ball-bearing hinges welded to the leaf, with three anti-burglary bolts on the hinge side; ABLOY DC500 door closer with guide rail; ABLOY AHW500 stainless steel lever set; ABLOY EL567 multipoint electromechanical lock; two stainless steel 304 square-corner kicking plates (H150 × W900 mm); ABLOY EA219 6 m connector cable for electric locks; concealed mortice-fixing armoured door loop; and a Planet HS-FH + RD automatic drop seal.
Finishes: RAL powder coating or oak-veneered plywood panels (6 or 10 mm). Optional anti-burglary glazing (min. P5) can be supplied in custom shapes and layouts, with solid or glazed fanlights and side panels.
An additional lock is available as an option. Factory documentation is supplied with each doorset.
These doors are certified to EI30s and EI60s.
