Integrated MultiThreat Certification

Each door location can require a different certification profile. Some openings need only burglary resistance, while others require combined performance for burglary, fire, ballistic, or blast threats.

Certification must match real project risk

Not every opening in a building has the same risk exposure. Certification should be selected by use case, room function, asset criticality, evacuation strategy, and local authority requirements. Overspecifying every door increases cost and complexity without proportional value.

Typical multi-threat combinations

  • Burglary resistance only (for standard controlled-risk zones)
  • Burglary + fire resistance (for protected compartments and critical circulation points)
  • Burglary + ballistic resistance (for high-risk facilities and protected rooms)
  • Burglary + blast resistance (for selected critical infrastructure interfaces)
  • Integrated requirements combining burglary, ballistic, blast, and fire where justified

Independent certification and standards alignment

We support door solutions independently certified to relevant European standards, with the configuration aligned to the threat profile of each opening. This approach helps maintain compliance while avoiding unnecessary specification inflation.

Why this is decided at design stage

Multi-threat requirements affect frame design, hardware, wall interface, control integration, and installation method. Early definition reduces redesign cycles and helps coordinate architectural, structural, fire, and security decisions before procurement.
