Technical Design & Spec Support

In-house experts support architects, consultants, and investors at concept and detailed design stages to reduce technical risk before tendering and installation.

Why early coordination matters

Security doors often need to satisfy multiple requirements at once: burglary resistance, fire compartmentation, safe escape, and controlled access. If these are specified separately, conflicts appear late and become expensive. We help align the door set, hardware, controls, and certification path from the beginning.

Typical specification conflicts we resolve

  • Fire barrier function combined with high-security RC requirements
  • Electronic access control and electromagnetic locking versus emergency egress
  • Fail-locked / fail-safe strategy during power loss scenarios
  • Push bars, panic hardware, and lock logic compatibility
  • Cable routing, door loops, and reinforced prep for electronic devices

Multi-party project interface

On complex projects, the investor is often expected to coordinate fire safety consultants, physical security teams, IT/security governance, access control vendors, and architectural stakeholders. We support that interface by flagging contradictions early and proposing tested door configurations.

Risk reduction at tender stage

We can manufacture to written specifications, but our review is based on the technical information shared with us at each stage. When we identify potential non-compliance, coordination gaps, or contradictory assumptions in that information, we flag them promptly and recommend corrective actions. To reduce risk most effectively, we advise involving our team during design development, not only at procurement stage.
